Course 2 Family Law for Family Mediators

This course meets the requirements of taking 21 hours in family law for those who wish to become accredited mediators but are not family lawyers. The course will explain the legal system, court structure, and all areas of family law that mediators need to know about, including parenting, support, property law, etc. There will be an emphasis on how trainees can continue their learning, and on understanding the tools that mediators have available, for example to do support calculations with Divorcemate.
